Jekyll - Dominic Gould
Born in the suburbs of LA and raised in upstate New York, Dominic Gould caught the acting bug at the tender age of 6, playing Saint Francis in a school play.
Having studied theatre and playwriting in high school, then at Amherst College and at the National Theater Institute, he continued his studies in Paris with Patrice Chéreau at the Théâtre des Amandiers in Nanterre.
Despite all the studying, the bug survived.
Dominic is now based in Paris, having embarked on a bilingual acting career in film, television and theatre.
He has worked under the direction of Sofia Coppola, Michel Blanc, Mika Kaurismaki, James Ivory, Robert Hossein, Tsui Hark, Jaco Van Dormael, Norman Jewison, Christophe Honoré, among others.

Hyde - Dan Gutman
Dan Gutman est un jeune comédien, né et élevé à Paris. Il a grandi dans une famille aux origines ethniques et culturelles très diverses et se plaît à se définir comme un multi-européen d'origine. De ces nombreuses origines, il a tiré un bénéfice non négligeable dans la pratique de plusieurs langues vivantes, notamment le français et l'anglais, qu'il considère comme ses deux langues maternelles.
Le virus du théâtre l'a contaminé jeune: à 11 ans il pense déjà à une carrière artistique. Entouré de parents qui nourrissent des rêves un peu plus raisonnables pour lui, il pratique néanmoins le théâtre en amateur durant de nombreuses années, en parallèle à des études d'histoire.
Finalement, un beau jour, le virus revient, plus fort, et Dan décide d'assumer son choix. Son parcours professionnel débute aux cours « Jeu-Désir-Jouer » sous la direction de Christophe Marchand, professeur à l'Ecole Jacques Lecoq. Par la suite, Dan complète sa formation par plusieurs stages. Comédien, échassier, il travaille aussi bien sur scène (notamment avec Boris Van Overdtveldt et Ladislas Chollat) que dans des spectacles de rue (Compagnie Progéniture, Remue-Ménage). Il multiplie également les expériences au cinéma. Il anime depuis plusieurs années des ateliers théâtre à destination d'enfants et d'adultes

Utterson - Stephen Shagov
Born in New Zealand, Stephen came to France in 1989 to study at L’Ecole de Mime Corporelle Dramatique (dedicated to the technique of Etienne Decroux). After three years of training in the physical sphere of theatre, he continued his studies for two years with Jean Laurent Cochet working on the French classical repertoire.
Stephen has worked with various film directors both French and English. In the last three years he has also worked on two other productions by Theatre en Anglais; “The Dumb Waiter” by Harold Pinter and “Romeo & Juliette” by Shakespeare. Playing the role of Utterson in Dr. Jekyl & Mr Hyde shall be another enjoyable opportunity to be on stage and play in theatres all over France. |

Lanyon - Matilda Kime
Matilda Kime was born in Paris to two very English parents and spent much of her childhood in the lavender fields of Provence, where she spoke French at the local village school and English at home.
At the age of nine, Matilda moved to London where she attended the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle. She was in the French system just long enough to get kicked out. She then set her sights on the British state school system, which she credits with allowing her just enough rebelliousness to keep things interesting.
After a year of odd jobs and 6 months of volunteering in Uganda, the prospect of three years at university in England no longer seemed so appealing. Matida went in search of the kind of real-world experience (with real people) that shapes the mind of people who want to interpret life. Falling short of the real world, she settled for Paris instead.
After a brief stint at Cours Florent, Matilda took classes for two years at Le Magasin in Malakoff, just outside Paris, taking part in the professional workshop, acting with their company (Cie Vagabond), as well as becoming Le Magasin's de facto translator. She credits the time spent in this hard-working creative haven, and her teacher Marc Adjaj, for having built the foundations of her 'art'.
A desire to work in her mother tongue led her to audition for the big classical schools in London. Matilda was lucky enough to be offered a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) where she spent the academic year 2008-2009.
She is also a very good waitress.

Pool - Rudy Galiffi
Rudy Galiffi se passionne pour le théâtre au collège, il joue dans les Plaideurs de Racine.
Ensuite avec le groupe théâtre du lycée il aborde de grands auteurs tels que Shakespeare, Brecht, Ionesco, Goldoni, Feydeau.
Après des études de biologie, il décide de consacrer son énergie au métier de comédien, il réussit le concours de l' ENSATT (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Techniques du Théatre). Sa formation se compose de cours d'art dramatique, mais aussi de voix, de chant, de danse, d'acrobatie, d'escrime, de commedia del arte, d'histoire de l'art et du théâtre.
Depuis sa sortie de l'école en 2000 il mutiplie les expériences théâtrales à travers la France en jouant des auteurs classiques :
Sophocle, Euripide,Molière, Marivaux. Il se passione aussi pour des auteurs contemporains (otho Strauss, Dario Fo, Peter Handke, Kateb Yacine).
Par ailleurs il travaille au micro pour france culture, il prête sa voix pour des jeux vidéos, du doublage, de la voix off.
Enfin il joue dans de nombreux courts-métrages, il tourne des publicités en Europe (Allemagne, Espagne)
Il collabore avec le théâtre en Anglais en tant que responsable de tournée sur le spectacle Oliver Twist.
Ses projets pour 2010-2011, il écrit un scénario de court-métrage, il prépare un monologue à jouer sur la guerre d'Algérie.
